Hello, I have been using Syncler and generally like it much better than Kodi because it has a much more Netflix-like user interface, as opposed to the ancient and less appealing to the eye interface that Kodi has. The one thing I don’t like about Syncler is that it is not available through the Play store, even for the Shield. So it has to be sideloaded. Therefore you don’t get automatic updates, etc. Also there is a bug in it that throws you an error message if you leave a movie paused for too long or if you skip too far ahead too quickly.
I have read that Stremio is awesome, but if it has the same clunky interface within its addons to browse for movies and shows that Kodi has, I think I will pass on it. What can anyone tell me about its interface? Is it Netflix-like once you get everything setup and running? Or it is more Kodi-like? Thanks
You can answer that by doing a search as its highly highly talked about. Also dont base your preference on netflix like interface, People need to start learning to get away from that to use awesome apps.

Stremio is awesome. It will even keep track of what episode you’re on in a series. Being able to pick up watching something on any device you have is also a big plus for some. VPN is a must as it’s torrent based however because it’s torrent based, you will seldom get buffering and freezing like others pending on it being seeded well. It is my goto app along with Film+. For movies and Tv, nothing else is needed typically.

Kodi is like a 1935 model A ford. Stremio is like a 2023 Cadillac. Yes it takes a little learnig but nothing like Kodi. Once u got it down u will like it! Kodi does have a new skin but mechanically nothing has changed.

I’ve never used Real Debrid and never once had a problem. It’s just a winner of an app either way. Just set it up with all the add ons and you’re good to go.

This depends entirely on what you are doing. I use stremio for tv series and movies. I don’t do live TV, music, coding, anime etc. So for me the main one is torrentio, then any movie/series addons and catalogues. You never know where you might find what you want.

I’ve just done Stremio for my cousin. I added anything that had to do with movies, Tv, Torrents over and above Torrentio, as well as others of interest. They take no space. Add anything of interest

I use Streamio without RD and it still works well. Though I usually have to search a few links…but after a while you get to know which links are likely to work the best. Can’t get a 4k to play, but I wonder if even with RD, the 4k plays well?

I don’t use Stremio for sports. For that I use an IPTV service in TiViMate. HD 60FPS.

For syncler just down load MX player and vlc and sometimes use one of them to play the link helps with the paused too long playback issues but you have to leave it a very long time before you get that issue just close out of the link if you aren’t coming anytime soon to finish watching syncler saves your progress and will resume when you go back and reload the list of links and I haven’t had any update issues I love syncler best app I ever seen whenever I use stremio it buffers everything and I have to have VPN on or I get copyrighted violations from my ISP don’t have to worry about that with syncler anyways just my opinion ignore me and this message if it’s to no use to you ok now I’m going back inside my batcave lol
