My T95Z Plus remains on the internet after enabling the kill switch on the Surfshark VPN. Is this an unrepairable issue with these devices? Thank you for your help.

try turning off auto-connect and check vpn bypass settings. Turn off bypass if always on vpn is needed. Remember when auto-connect is off and kill switch is on, internet should be dead at that point. imho the t95z is not the issue, its the vpn setup.
