I have a 2019 shield and onn 4k and pro boxes. I have dl the latest version on surfshark from TROYPOINT on all three boxes and I have the vpn safety dot as well. Lately, the surfshark app is taking forever if not failing to do a quick connect. And the safety dot says it can’t look for the update bc it is not on the internet.
The two Walmart boxes are at two different locations homes with different ip addresses.
I have reinstalled everything and I use tduk app killer and cache cleaner apks regularly. Please help.
Not sure if hard wire or wireless? Did you try and reboot modem? Is everything else working as it should without Surfshark? Do the other devices seem like they load ok or seem slow?
My shield was running slow. Apps not opening quick. I rebooted it and it works great again.

So yes I rebooted my modem it’s Att fiber. I rebooted the shield I have 6 gigs free on the device. I even did the app killer and cache cleaner as well. I just don’t know why the same behavior is happening in three different ip addresses locations. I think there is a problem or bug with the latest app version or maybe even the vpn dot could be buggy bc it has said it could not check for an update several times. The dot app is a lifesaver and piece of mind . Also I have only the non google play store apks routed thru the Bypasser in surfshark and I leave out all the paid apps. I had it the other way around and it slowed even more.
