It doesn’t work. I’ve done it over a dozen times now. For a few weeks on and off been trying this. It will not copy the channels from another group and put them in the new group I’ve created in a different provider. It will only let me choose the top All Playlists area. Which does not contain the provider’s playlist I wish to use. No other choice.

Your picture shows the All Playlists area. Which is exactly where I’m NOT wanting the new channel group to go.

Ahhh. Now I finally get you. No you cannot move a channel from one playlist to another, all you can do is Create groups. My bad. As the playlist is tied to a specific xtreme code you cannot simply move them to a different playlist. All you can do is create a group within a playlist and move any other channel within that group to the one you created. There are ways to create your own playlist and then add it to TiViMate, but you can’t create playlists within TiViMate.
To do what you want you need a playlist editor to combine playlists into one playlist. You would need a a program like IPTVBOSS or IPTVEDITOR.

Thanks. I do have an editor but I wondered if I could do it on the fly within Tivimate. Know we know for sure.

This is also an option for you to play with.

You can create a group in one of the folders or use one of the groups already present.
- Select channel and long press the OK button on your remote.
2.Selects the channels you wish to copy. You can select as many as you want.
- Option to select ALL by left pressing the directional button on your remote.
- Select the group you wish to copy to and press copy.
5.Now you can find your copied channel in the group you copied it to.
*Copy will make a duplicate. Move will remove the channel from where you took it from. In other words, if you ‘MOVE’ a channel. It will no longer appear in the group you moved it from. Copying a channel will leave the channel in the original group but will copy a duplicate to your new group.

Thank you for the great graphic work. It’s very good. But we have gone over and past this idea. Not wanting to make a channel group in the All Playlists area at the top.
Here is a really quick and cheap way for me to illustrate.
My Tivimate looks somewhat like this on the side. List categories has been shortened and provider names have been changed to protect the innocent.

Okay, so it looks like you already know how to make groups. Then just go ahead and do it. You can do what you detailed. It will just take some time, but not too complicated.
You will just need to hide all the groups you no longer wish to appear.
It’s working today in internet and Kodi
Just use IPTVBoss, you can’t do it in Tivimate

Yes I’m new here. I used the TV app every day. How useful. It just recently stopped working. Does anyone know what’s going on with the app.

That’s what I’ve been trying to explain. That I see no way to do it in Tivimate. Just thought I’d ask in case I missed something.

Can’t. It doesn’t work. I’ve already hidden all the groups I want to hide a long time ago. There is no way to take that Big Brother channel group that I created up in the All playlists top area, which contains channels from multiple providers in my Tivimate, and put it in the 3rd provider’s list of channel groups. That is what I want to be able to do. Should be simple but it can’t be done.
still not working for me now and I had no problems for weeks dunno
OPTION #1
You can make all the folders you want and copy or move any channel you want within the “All Playlists” section. Once you have all your groups loaded with the channels you want. You can “HIDE” (make invisible) your providers playlist names if you wish by just removing the name of your provider name in Settings.
OPTION #2
Using this method, you can ‘CUSTOMIZE’ that specific playlist by adding channels to your created folders. Using this option, you CANNOT copy/move a channel from another playlist to another playlist. You can ONLY choose channels contained within that original provider’s playlist.
Personally, I like Option #1 better.
[
You can add channels from multiple playlists ONLY within the All-Playlists folder.
You CANNOT add a channel from provider A to provider B, within provider A’s playlist. That can ONLY be done in the All-Playlist folder using Tivimate!
I don’t understand what it is you don’t understand?

Then do as @Throttlejockey suggested and join a playlist editor. There are tons of them and will for a small fee walk you through it.
