I’ve been saying this since my first question. I don’t know what it is you didn’t understand.

Although this is supposed to be a TVApp thread, I believe I understand what you are trying to do. However, I’m 99% sure it isn’t possible in Tivimate. You can’t move channels from other playlists to a different playlist. The only way I can think of that MIGHT work (I can test it after work), is like @Throttlejockey said, using IPTV Boss and importing multiple playlist sources into one layout, create a folder and pull over those channels to that folder from the multiple source channel option. You may need premium IPTV Boss to do that, not sure. When I get a chance I’ll test.

I told him all this many posts ago and explained exactly why. TiViMate is a player not a multiplaylist editor and intigrator. For that you need another app/site, but even that though seems not to be adequate. Bottom line, thread question asked and flogged to death.

He can do exactly what he wants to do in the ‘All Playlists’ folder. He can place channels from multiple providers in a folder he would create. He just can’t combine channels from different providers within a specific playlist.

I tried explaining it using pictures of what I did. He can make however many folders he wishes and combine as many channels from various providers. Then he would in essence have accomplished his end result of what he intended.

He just wants to, for some reason, combine a provider’s playlist within a dedicated provider’s specified folder.

Using the ‘All Playlist’ this can be accomplished. Then he could eliminate the visual clutter by hiding all the other provider playlists and groups.

Example: I create folders for providers A, B, and C in the ‘All Playlist’ folder. Then I create sub folders for each of those playlists. I can add any channel I wish from multiple providers in any folder. In essence creating a customized master playlist.

So, by doing this I would only have my ‘All Playlist’ folder being visible and all the others would be hidden.

That would be a lot of work and gambling that time and effort on a chance, #1 the provider remains active. #2 the providers don’t do major changes to their playlists. #3 you keep these subs.

I don’t understand why he would want to create duplicate folders when what he wants to do can be done within the ‘All Playlist’ folder.

Yes! He can do this by placing his 3rd provider’s playlist IN the ‘All Playlist’ folder. He could easily copy an entire provider’s playlist and transfer it all to a folder or multiple folders in the ‘All Playlist’ folder.
If I wanted to, I could copy all my providers’ playlists into the ‘All Playlist’ folder and mix and match as I please.

I want the folder of channels put there because that’s the playlist of the provider I use most often. Which would make it ease of use for me. Don’t know why that would seem like such an odd thing to do. It’s all about customizing to your own liking, isn’t it?

Read my very first post on this question. You misunderstood what I was asking as did Miki, yet Miki did realize it finally and said he understood after he had posted all the same solutions you were posting later but with graphics.
Kept saying I didn’t want channel group to go in the top All playlists area about 4 different times. Not my fault if you missed an important piece of my question.

You’re right that it can’t be done in TiviMate. I’ve explored every avenue and then asked here just to make sure somebody else didn’t have trick way to do it. Should have never asked. People posted many long posts of writing an answer that did not address my particular question, then they accuse me of flogging the thread. It takes all kinds I guess.

You are the exact opposite of appreciative that people are trying to help you. Not all things brought up on this site are perfectly explained, yet people still try to help for the good of the community and its fine people. Very confused why you are so angry. I also told you the solution to your problem but then more anger and frustration.

So this is the way people help? Count me out

I said what I did to you because Miki and Powerfader were both complaining about my question to you. I was merely trying to explain. They didn’t understand the question and kept telling me how to do what I didn’t want to do, and had already done many many times.

By posting your picture about another subject?

I appreciate the discussion about other ways to do things. My TheTVApp is still not working on my TV Firestick through Kodi 20.2. I am using tvOne from Glive add-ons. Thank all of you for your suggestions.

The Kodi addon needs updating. If you have a browser you will be able to watch thetvapp that way. It’s working if you go directly to the website address.

Then just put the ENTIRE playlist from that provider IN the ‘ALL Playlist’ folder!

If you put your playlists IN the ‘All Playlist’ folder. Then YOU decide which playlist gets placed 1st, 2nd, 3rd and so forth.

It CAN be done! You just can’t see the forest for the trees.

I understood EXACTLY what you wanted to do and offered you an option. Albeit, a time exhausting option, but none-the less, an option.

You can customize a playlist and add multiple channels from other playlists. If you create a folder in ALL Playlists and put that playlist IN the All playlist folder you created.

You cannot add channels from other playlists to a specific playlist UNLESS you place That playlist IN the All playlist folder! However, you CAN rearrange channel in a specific playlist folder all you want.

To place an ENTIRE playlist in the All Playlist would be easiest by first hiding groups you don’t want and using the ‘SELECT ALL’ option when copying the rest of the channels from the remaining groups.

It can be done. I DID IT AND SHOWED YOU!

You showed me how to do what I already knew how to do. You didn’t show me how to do what I was wanting to do and what I was asking about. Why must you continue beating a dead horse?

You showed me your way of moving all playlists in the top All playlists area. Not what I wanted to do, so you can claim victory and collect your prize and shout all you want. But you did not show me how to do what I was trying to do, simply because it can’t be done that way. This is the final and true answer. And now perhaps a request that can be added for future development of TiviMate versions.
