I can’t get the ONN box to recognize a wifi signal. Why most I hardwire from my router to the Onn box? Am I crazy or what? jb

Did you go into your settings> Network & Internet> WiFi and find the SSID of your network and log into it?

Anyone having issues with audio from apks like syncler beta on the 4k pro onn? I had no issues with playing for example mad max fury road 4k with Dolby Atmos on vudu through my surround sound but on any apk i have for streaming movies the sound will not play the atmos surround at that high quality i get with my shield tv pro. Any advice would be helpful thanks

Find your SSID, which is the name of your WiFi service. It will be on the router. Click on it and then enter your password. SSID stands for “service set identifier” and is your Wi-Fi network name.

On the 4K onn box. Click on the gear on the right hand side go to Wifi Make sure you have this turned on. You should see your Wi-Fi name.

Hello All,

I received and setup my ONN 4K Pro today. It took me about 3 hours to setup and download most of my main apps I use daily. I followed TP’s video. It was somewhat easy to configure. My takeaways:

  1. You can rearrange the app on the home page. Happy about that feature.

  2. All apps icons didn’t load to the homepage. Have to go to setting, then apps to see all loaded apps. Fast Task Killer nor VirusTotal Mobile icons loaded to homepage. Wasn’t happy that all app icon didn’t load to homepage.

  3. Don’t like that app permissions will be removed if not used within a month. You must allow permission again. Wish I could turn this feature off.

Overall, I was happy with ease of setup. I love the 32gb storage. I’m still somewhat of a beginner. I loaded: Stremio, SStream, Unlinked, Downloader and added my favorite URLs.

Thanks TP and community, I was able to do this with the knowledge I gained from you all. Lol, I know just enough to be dangerous.

Forget to mention, no backlight on remote.

I don’t know I can torn the Onn device on but when I try to go anything else I get the message that I get is I can’t reach the internet right now

That happened to me during my setup. I went back and reselect my wifi and enter password and it connected the 2nd time
