Sorry Troy,
Can’t seem to add reply to your ONN 4K Pro video. But think you need to know how I ruined my new ONN 4K Pro and maybe add a warning to your next review video.
Not your fault, but I followed your video and after installing flauncher and launcher manager, I went off-script and used launcer manager to go ahead and change to flauncher, then went to home, didn’t care for the simplicity, and decided to just uninstall flauncher. OOPS I should have used launcher manager first to reset home to the default ONN home. Now I just have a blank screen. Home is gone. Rebooted a few times but home has disappeared.
Oh, and, of course I shut off google assistant so talking to Google does’t process even after turning microphone back on. Funny, only buttons that work are Disney and Paramount, both of which I disabled. Everything else on the remote is gone, oh, and the 4 lights are red, unless I press Disney or Paramount button, then the turn white when I get the subscribe page.
So I tried the reset button on the box itself and all lights go white, I can only get the pair remote screen, which I do for 3 secs and then get a blank screen with 4 red lights. Totally baked device without a factory reload.
Oh, how many ways can a duffer screw things up once the get access to developer options. Seriously I have been with you for 7 years I think and love everything you’ve taught me. Still using my gen2 FTV, a firestick a mecool, set up friends and family devices, and never stepped in it this bad.
My fault. Going to buy a new ONN 4K Pro tomorrow.
