The UFC has signed a new 7-year $7.7 billion dollar deal with Paramount which will end the pay-per-view model that the organization has utilized since its start in 1993.

Paramount+ Premium is available for $12.99/month or $119.99/year and is entirely ad-free. This will provide all UFC events starting in 2026.

People pay to watch TV and/or sports?

I already have Paramount+ because of many sbows that I watch, so it won’t be a change, but I’m glad they’re doing away with the PPV. I hope they pay the fighters that do the work more, and I hope they go back to letting fighters wear what they want and hang their banners before for all the people and companies who sponsor the individual.

No I won’t subscribe to Paramount+. I rarely watch UFC to begin with. I have to wonder though, if Walmart+ will continue to include Paramount+ with the Walmart+ subscription. Since the new UFC deal worth 7.7 billion dollars, it makes me wonder if Walmart will still be able to include Paramount+.

I actively went out of my way to buy UFC PPV’s back in the “dark ages” when it was banned from Comcast. You had to have a friend that had DirecTV or another satellite provider to buy it. I wanted them to survive. They don’t need my money anymore.

Me too!

Why would I. I really enjoyed Du Plessis vs Chimaev Saturday night. Why should it matter who is hosting the fight?

Paramount+ Never!

Bear with me, I’m a snooker fan and would wait and hope that a Canadian broadcaster might run a tournament final on a Sunday if we were lucky, then cut the cord and for 15 yrs watched all the tournaments on UK’s Eurosport channel till last year when that channel suddenly showed as ‘closed’ and was no longer available. Seems it was now under the ‘TNT’ banner available via Discovery+ which is owned by Paramount+. I worked my way through the various Disc+ regional offices over 2 wks to finally be told that I couldn’t buy a subscription here in Canada to get snooker and so it didn’t benefit me in any way, only the share holders… Around the same time there was some forum chatter about how to get a UK subscription to a dedicated sports platform to get some of the tournaments at a significant monthly subscription using a UK address and VPN. Even better, at the same time the was a terrific tutorial on a Troy Point Insider about $1.50 IPTV services and within 24 hrs Amber Baby had me all fixed up and I’ve watched every game/match/tournament since (along with every worthwhile PPV type event).

So thank you Paramount+ for driving me away before I could even become a customer, and an even bigger thxs to TPInsider! the only source for trusted advice and info - cheers!
