Fire stick and kodi

I’ve watched yours and others instructions on how to load Kodi onto a fire stick and first off nothing looks like your example. I bought a 4k a couple of months ago and gave up trying to load it I have a Sony Bravia tv is this the reason nothing matches? Please help

Not sure which instructional you’re referring to. I program Firesticks and have loaded hundreds with Kodi and never had an issue. I’m programming the 4K Max sticks and use the RAI from Troy to install the no build KODI Matrix 19.4 and then load any addons I want. FireTV OS, found on the Max, will look the same on any TV as it’s the source of your picture, not the TV. The TV at this point is little more than the monitor component of your setup, and the Stick is the “vid source”
