Biggest thing to remember is your kodi version and the build/addon you want. Make sure they are compatible. 19+ is the matrix stable Make sure your build or addon is updated for that version.

Seren keeping track of real debrid

With seren make sure you are going through the guide entirely.

Here are most common problems people are having troubles.

  1. Using a VPN not compatible with Real-Debrid. If you’re using IPVanish VPN, you have nothing to worry about as it’s 100% compatible with Real-Debrid.
  2. When configuring the Seren add-on, you aren’t taking the extra step to install the necessary scraper. You must read the entire Seren guide…all of it.
  3. You’re making a mistake when typing in one of the addresses for either the Seren addon itself or the scraper. Take your time and double check your spelling. One wrong character in either of those addresses and this won’t work.
  4. Your Real-Debrid account has expired. Keep in mind, you must have a premium account for this to work properly and they don’t notify you when your account has expired.

This as been addressed in the advisor as well.

I have Sling, Weyd, Syncler and Stremio on my ONN 4k Pro and they are playing awesomely.
I also have my Kodi build using Umbrella, Coalition and Crew.

I’m a bit confused that Sling, Stremio, Weyd & Syncler flawlessly plays 4k-1080 & 720 programming. However in Kodi, I can only play the 720 & SD or I experience lagging and buffering.
I don’t understand how I can play the links with higher resolution with my Apps, but not my Kodi Addons?!

Hmmm…Not sure what issue you are having with KODI and 4K. I have been using Umbrella and The Crew for several months and both play 4K streams. Go into your setting and make sure you didn’t disable 4K stream sources

Are you using your vpn with all services?

I was thinking maybe kodi has the vpn and the others are getting the full wifi speeds.

Also, are the links you select on kodi compatible with your tvs audio and video?

Just guesses by me.

I clean everything out daily and reboot my device.
I’ve revoked then reauthorized Trakt & Premiumize and my Surfshark is always running.
I can’t even play the lowest 4k links or 1080 links in either Umbrella, Crew or Coalition and they play great with the 780 links. Otherwise they buffer & lag terribly.

My 4k & 1080 are authorized in my addon settings?

What puzzles me is they play well in Syncler, Stremio and Weyd…

My Onn 4k Pro device is tethered to the Ethernet. I actually get better speeds tethered than I do WiFi… I’m also getting 100 Mbps uploads -and- 15 Mbps downloads using my Analiti and Home Telecom testers.

Ok. Not sure why its happening unless your kodi or addons are out dated. Using kodi 21.1 and have auto update selected for the addons?

15 Mbps down might be your issue. IMO that is nowhere near enough to watch 4K streams. I do not use a VPN and get close to 400 Mbps down on wifi

I think he had the numbers reversed for up and down.

I pay for 300 Mbps thru xfinity, but was not getting anything close to that until IPVanish support and I tried EVERYTHING to get it close. Again, this is IPVanish, but until we used the split-tunneling option (which I never thot I needed to use), it came up to high 300-400 Mbps more than I pay for.

Just to clarify also, my Onn box is connected via ethernet.

You should only use Split Tunneling if you arent concerned with your ISP seeing what you are watching. You are just bypassing the vpn for those selected apps. Which is why the speeds are better.

Using on your Prime Video or Netflix accounts, for example, dont need a vpn. But using a vpn on iptv, kodi or stremio is recommended but not required. But your isp can see your viwed links. But they may be encrypted by some providers.

Bottom line, if you split tunnel all your apps you dont need a vpn anyway.

I had them backwards.
Download speed 188.78 Mbps /// Upload speed 14.51 Mbps

Paying for a 300 Mbps and using Surfshark.

I’ve gone through all my settings and upgraded the addons, but nothing’s change???

I did that day one from Troys Surfshark instructions.
The only thing I use Surfshark for is Kodi.

Gotcha.

I was referring to @BillyWilliam about using the Split Tunnel . It sounded like he split tunneled apps to get quicker speed but he really is only getting regular isp speed with the apps not connected to the vpn. The vpn apps still get the reduced speed.
