Probably need to enable developer options or such. Maybe Papa can give better details on steps.

Welcome! A little more detail would help us solve your issue. What have you tried? What did the error message say? The more descriptive you can be in here, the quicker we can troubleshoot, diagnose and hopefully correct most issues.

The kodi 19.4 has installed but when I try to put a build or add on it installs but than it will say this isn’t installed or other things. I hope this makes sense. I also have the cube and invidious shield and don’t have any issues.
Thank you

I think @TP-Dracoo mentioned this but can you verify you’ve done this. If so I’m lost cause kodi’s been working on my z11 perfectly for a while.

Was trying to install Umbrella addon on my Formuler Z11 Pro. I have tried all Kodi versions down to 18.9 with no success. Umbrella is added from zip file but will not install from repository. None of the addons available on Kodi. I have installed The Crew successfully. Is Umbrella just not working?

Umbrella is working on my wife’s Z11, Umbrella repo version 2.2.6
Umbrella version 6.7.41 and using Kodi version 21.1
Make sure you have gone into Kodi settings/system/addons, make sure unknown sources is on.
Discovered the problem. I had to download Kodi via Google Playstore and was able to install; running well. I was using Downloader versions. For some reason, this worked on my Z11. On my NVIDIA Shield, I installed using Downloader. Strange.

Some addons just won’t work with old versions of Kodi.
I always use the official version or a Nightlies beta version if it has a feature that the stable version doesn’t have that I need.

I used to install KODI from the official site but find installing it from Troy’s Toolbox in Downloader much easier for me. He typically always has the latest releases and up to date Forks in the toolbox

I just install from the playstore which is pretty easy.
The Nightlies are from the website which are from my saved bookmark on my browser.
I have never really used forks but are handy for testing builds if you like using them.
