Due to the ongoing complaints we strongly suggest holding off on purchasing any new BuzzTV boxes such as the PowerStation 6 and X5 SuperSport.
We still havenāt received our review unit for the PowerStation as they are holding off on sending those to reviewers until bugs are ironed out.
Regarding the X5 SuperSport, I have tested this and it has some problems that a future update is supposed to fix. In itās current state there is no way I can recommend purchasing this device.
Thank you.

Agreed. As an owner, far too many issues.
Edit: Buzz has offered to refund both boxes (I stupidly bought both) but the issue is Iām in the UK and it will be expensive (postage wise) and some weeks before I can get it sorted so wondering what to do right now.

Iāve just purchased a BuzzTV X5, should I be worried?
The normal X5 is OK. The issues seem to be with boxes running Android 13, its very new to Buzz devices so I think its a bit of a bug fest

I purchased 2 BuzzTV xrs4500 boxes shortly after they were released. After 1 year, one of them failed completely and would not power back up. In view of that experience and some quirkiness in loading certain apps, I went elsewhere for a premium device.

Like you I purchased a Buzz TV XRS4500 last year, failed after two months. They looked impressive, anything but, I sent it back for a full refund. Went elsewhere for another premium box and glad to say havenāt had any problems.
I first purchased a Ugoos device over 3 years ago and have been completely satisfied. Some manufacturers simply put out better quality devices and software than others. Unfortunately, sometimes we learn through trial and error.

While I fully understand the frustration for the money spent on these, I would give @buzztvglobal and crew the chance to right the ship. It wasnāt long ago that we had many frustrated Buzz owners and @buzztvglobal came in here and got peppered with angry comments just to be able to make things right for those owners. I believe he accomplished that feat at the time, which makes me hopeful for this situation as well.

Im not sure about the Mecool Box, but compared to the XRS4500 the Formular definitely comes out top.

I too purchased the X5 SS. Had problems from the beginning and CS was no help. I now have an issue with typing in both Downloader and settings (network). Iām not able to change my wifi network or type in the search box on Downloader. Letter and number box pops up but the remote will not type anything. Sticking with the tried and true Shield!

The KM2 + Deluxe is a very nice box. Donāt notice the power like some of the other boxes though. But very smooth.

The z11 shines with its apps and built in iptv player. I have one and will admit its a very nice box but imho not worth the price much like the Buzz boxes that to me are equally as good, just depends on what one likes. I have most boxes and my fav is ugoos. The amazon products are equally niceā¦it just boils down to $$$$$$
