I get the same tract error message for seren since updating to kodi 21. have to sync tract to update. may go back to 20.5.

I continue to get the same Seren error message. Reinstalled per Troy, re added Debrid, Trakt, STILL continue to get the error message. Also use Crew, Umbrella, Twilight. All work perfectly except Seren. No build. Annoying Seren error continually

Me too mate…
I use a Firestick 4K Max for testing purposes, I’ve uninstalled 21 and reinstalled it.
As I finished installing Seren the error message came up immediately.
So it’s no different, i’d like to ask the OP…
What makes him/her think it’s a new file?
And that it has solved the problem.

What version of Seren are you getting the error on?

Just curious if you have 3 perfectly working addons why are you concerned if Seren is NOT working for you? You only need 1 Working Addon (Maybe a backup or 2) at any given time. Your good to go as you have 3!

OK didn’t have the correct install procedure for the new Seren.

Once i’d sussed out what needed to be done, I loaded Seren 3.0.1 on the F/S 4K Max

Works perfectly now, thanks to the OP.

Now over to my Shield TV Tube I can at last put Omega 21 on there

Yeah don’t get too caught up with “go to” addons. They come and go. Use what is working

Not sure what vid you’re referring to but if you’re getting Seren from nixgates repo, you’re getting 3.0.0 and if you don’t want to see that error then get it from the above post and you’ll get 3.0.1 and it shows no errors :wink:

I was referring to a response you sent to @emil3rd trying to get seren 3.01 from another repo other than nixgates which gives seren 3.0 and gives errors. I believe you included a link: GitHub - Goldenfreddy0703/repository.hooty: A repository for maintained releases of addons and it could have seren 3.01 which might solve error messages. I didn’t know if I went to that url if I needed a log-in or had to sign up to join.or if anyone knows it works :thinking:

@Miki is correct, no sign up needed, just install repo. Not sure if it will update the 3.0.0 or if you’ll need a fresh install.

The way I did it was…

On your device open file manager, then enter…

Then just follow the usual install instuctions

Willie – I get the same Seren Error/check log message every time I open Seren. I think this all started when I upgraded to a Shield Pro in April. However, Seren continues to work perfectly fine for me, including with RD and subtitles. So I just ignore the error message as it doesn’t seem to mean anything.

Are you having other issues with Seren, or just this error message?
