Just wondering now that I have a memory stick attached to firestick, and I have most everything download to memory stick, my memory is still only about a gig on firestick?
Your USB stick is not showing up there. It should if its connected properly. You should also see it with apps like x-plore as well. They can and do disconnect in which case the app won’t even show up.
I’ve reloaded apps and they show up like this on memory, so it looks like they are loading on memory stick.

I would also turn off the auto offload feature. Make the choice for yourself. Don’t forget not all apps will install on the USB unless that option is coded into the APK install by the dev. Also not all data of the app will be kept on the external USB, some will still be on the internal memory.

@Jayhawks659 did an excellent article on this and if you do a search here for adding apps to USB storage for Firestick there are tons of posts to read.
So I’ve read articles. I’ve expanded memory w a 64g stick. It’s full, can I just plug another stick into this, or do I have to transfer data on this stick to a new 512g I bought?
I just want to increase internal storage.

Yes I have a simler hub otg SUYAMA I purchased for my Fire TV Stick 4K (2nd Gen) totally unstable it works when you reboot the firestick sometimes with a keyboard or USB stick attached etc but switch to apps or something just in settings and the devices attached disappear and stop working. I believe it’s just the faulty device so I’m going to by a better quality otg cable etc to USB powered hub and try that one or a better quality micro USB OTG hub etc

OMG I’ve super charged dozens of 4K Max using a powered hub, 3 USB ports. Gig Ethernet port. 256 GB USB drives. Mini Rii KB. with 2.4 Ghz Dongle. Stable as all get out. Ports are 3.0 I think. Hafta dig out the specs it’s been a day or two. But up until I got the shield pro it was the best streaming fun I could find.

Cinema, ArcStream, other apk’s. All I’m asking if I can transfer what’s on the 64g via my iMac to the 512g and just use that. Are you saying my 64g should be plenty for what I need?

If you’re using up 64 GBs on apps, man that’s a lot of apps. I can’t honestly say if you can transfer apps from the 64 GB USB drive to a 512 GB USB Drive, I’ve never needed to. What exact model of Firestick do you have?
I tried to transfer data via iMac. Didn’t work. Is there a way to send you privately what apps I have. As you know Amazon pre loads their apps. I also

You are using a very old Firestick and they are known to have storage issues. I would never recommend using a full Kodi build on one. Also don’t forget, even though you have a number of apps on the external USB, they store a bunch of their data on the Stick so you shouldn’t try to run them from the USB for apps that are resource intensive like Kodi. Fire OS 6.7.0.3 will have issues with newer apps as most devs aren’t bother with backward compatibility that far back. Personally I think all your issues will disappear with at least a 4K Max even Fire OS 8. Maybe tome for new.

What is the difference between 4K max and OS 8? It looks like OS8 is on 4K max?

New Max devices run OS8. However, Amazon is in the middle of creating a new operating system for their future devices. Instead of the Android TV fork it currently uses, it will be homegrown. In my opinion, they may even completely outlaw sideloading in the new OS. It is one thing to like Firesticks, but this new system likely won’t even be similar. You couldn’t pay me to get one at this point.
