I just installed it on my Onn 4k Pro through Downloader, very strange. You are allowing unknown sources for Downloader? Is your Downloader up to date or are you using an older version? Turned off play protect?
I don’t use Cinema, can anyone tell me if this is the official site? You can try to load through there if it is. I know you have your heart set on Cinema, but it isnt what it once was. Have you tried other apps? FlixVision is very good if you didn’t want to jump to Stremio, Syncler or Kodi.
Thank you for responding @AMD237. I thought I allowed unknown sources. Unless I somehow missed a step? Where do I do that? Also, what is Play Protect and how do I turn that off?
Are there other apps that work like Cinema and sync with Trakt across devices I could try if I can’t get Cinema working? I don’t want to do apps like Kodi. It is too much to keep up with having to add all the add ons.

I’m not at home in front of a box to walk you through allowing “unknown sources” on the Onn 4k Pro, but I’m trying to find the steps on Troypoint.com.

Thank you. I appreciate it. I am not new at setting up these apps as I have had followed Troypoint for a longtime and have used Cinema on my Firestick and Fire TV box for several years. I am however new to using an Android box for something like this.

Not for the new pro, it’s a round connector, the 20 dollar onn is the same as the firestick.
I have the original $20 Onn box. Great wee box. I found apks for bbc iplayer and ITVX which work on the box
Downloader code 21203.
Only missing Channel 4 which is only available on the firesticks.

I just returned my 1st Onn 4K Streamer Pro. It works fine for standard apps like Amazon Prime Video, Netflix and Tubi etc. The problem I had is with side loaded apps like Kodi and CinemaHD. Kodi’s display is too large for the screen. The clock display at the top is half out of view and everything you play within Kodi you can tell is oversized.
In CinemaHD, there is a problem with the player where you can’t fast forward or reverse a movie more than 15 seconds and the highlight won’t move up or down to get at the top or bottom menu controls. I tried to install VLC to work with Cinema but when you try to play something with VLC as the default player, whatever you’re trying watch does not play. The screen goes black but then reverts to the previous screen.
These are major irritations for me, I use these programs consistently so I’m back to my Fire TV stick where everything works as it should.
Maybe they’ll fix these issues but, for now, I’ve wasted enough time trying to make this work as it does on a Fire stick.
You won’t need a voltage adapter . I’ve set up and sent several TV boxes to friends in Leeds . You just need the adapter that changes the fitting into your outlet:
I pointed that out when I got my Onn 4k last December. Unlike the Fire stick, there was no setting to fix the display Ie: Move the arrows until everything is in the screen. Lucky for me, there is nothing really outside that impairs the video and if you’re watching something, you would never know. If your controls can’t be reached, of course that’s a huge show stopper. I am also thinking it’s TV dependent or else this problem would be listed everywhere.

All you have to do is go into your TV settings and adjust the screen size to fit properly. It’s literally a 10 seconds fix.

The settings to resize your screen are in your TVs settings .
Where in the US are you going? If you’re coming to Vegas dress accordingly 
I just went in and turned off Play Protect and the other setting in security and I still am not able to download APK time for Cinema.and i am getting the same error to check the URL and connection. I did notice I don’t see a message about unknown sources to click after I download the Downloader app. I dont know what I am missing. If I can’t get this fogired out I dont think I can side load any programs to this box.

If ya still after channel 4 content check out catch-tv-and-more addon in kodi. Available through official kodi repo.

Hello,
I recently resolved this issue by entering the settings on my TCL. Scroll to system, power & energy, and turn off doze mode. This same issue occurred with Mecool.

You need to allow the device to install unknown sources from downloader. Follow the steps in the jailbreak article.

My son left the AC adapter behind for his Onn 4k Pro when he was on a trip. Could someone provide me with the part/model # from the AC adapter so I can try to source one without going the universal route? If you cannot find what I am talking about, please post pictures of the bottom and top of the AC Adapter so I can try to use that to find the information I need.
