Aside from fielding testimonials from other owner/users, the best judge would always be yourself.

The Onn boxes, either the $19 or the $49 4k boxes, are both “solid” devices. When you factor in the low cost risk to buy and try, it makes it a “great” device.

I have both and have purchased additional ones as gifts. No regrets whatsoever.

You should take advantage of the sale and give it a whirl.

Yes sir. I just ordered one . For the longest time I resisted from buying it because I’m swimming in TV boxes :joy: this price drop made me lose the battle :see_no_evil:

hard to understand a dead last ranking on a box that works so well. Its fully certified if thats your thing but certs to me are worthless as I use it as an iptv box for the most part.

OK i searched and there was a question about the ONN4k pro locked up and stuck on a blank screen and wont go to setting or anything else. Does anyone else have a solution to this problem. Could not find it in the older post either. Thanks

Make sure the power connection is connected correctly(common issue with many boxes) Another thing to try is un plug the box from the back connector then hold down the power button on the remote at the same time plug it back in to try and power up.

OK I’m sure most people don’t answer their own problems… But I found the reset instructions for the onn 4k plus to wipe and reinstall factory settings externally:

correct way to reset Onn 4k 1)Pull out power cable or Power Off Onn 2)Press & Hold small button on Box 3)Power on Box wait until you see Onn logo, release the button 3)You will see option to factory reset. Use same button today scroll, Hold for 2 seconds to select

Wanted to leave it in case others have same prob

I uninstalled the launcher app and bricked it but the reset fixed it

Launcher apps are very common issues when un-installing. Its always best to check with the dev for any steps needed for removal. I tend to use projectivy launcher and never had an issue with un-installing as long as I remember to turn off accessibility for the app 1st.

I appreiciate the info and I just learned the hard way… I am setting up a box for my son. I always us wolf launcher and he wanted to try a different one… I installed the other launched and we didn’t like it so we just uninstalled … WRONG… but factory reset and we good to go. going to put Wolf on and let it be

Every time I tried to use Launchers on my ONN box it bricked them. I did a factory reset. I do not use launchers because if this
