Okay so I got the Onn4K pro, now can you record using Tivimate to your laptop like you could with the fire stick or do I have to use sparkle?

No idea I donā€™t have a need to record anything and no longer use Tivimate. My IPTV service uses their own proprietary app. Hopefully someone can help

Found a multi volt psi with several different adapters for my T95Z Plus with a bad psu. Didnā€™t work. Got my ONN 4K Pro going and some channels saved in my favorites. Every channel has the blue circle.
How was your day?

EDIT I found out that I canā€™t set up the ONN in one room and use it in another. Weird.

Itā€™s their own proprietary app not even close to what Tivimate looks like. I lucked out into an invite only service. No web site, no discord, no advertising and they stopped taking on new subs. Have had the service for almost 2 years. About $5/month everything I need, unlimited connections, live plus most VOD.

Unlimited connections that is something I havenā€™t seen offered on service before and at $5 a month.
You usually have to pay extra for more connections.
Their VOD server must be expensive to run to cover most VOD.
Can you use your own app if you wanted to?

I would think that they planned it all out, how much equipment needed to give a certain number of clientsā€“at the price point for profitā€“service far and above what they were used to as clients of other servicesā€¦steady income, no cry baby clients because everything just worksā€¦what a planā€¦

Yeah itā€™s an incredible service. Itā€™s $7.99/month if you go month to month (which I did for a while) but if you buy 6 months itā€™s about $5/month. No you cannot use your own app

I may be the only one. I have not seen any other posts on this particular problem. Iā€™m having constant problems with my onn 4k pro staying connected to my Internet. I donā€™t have this problem with any other streaming device in my house which includes fire cube, two on 4k boxes(19.99) and a Mi Box 4s. AT&T fiber with plenty of speed and good WiFi signal throughout the house. Returned one onn 4k pro device thinking it was an internal issue with that particular box but got another one and still having the same problems. Any advice and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Go into Wifi Settings.
Select your network and then click ā€œforget networkā€
Reboot your device from Android settings.
Connect to your wifi again .

I donā€™t have any answer in that my Onn 4K Pro doesnā€™t have that issue, but it may be that the particular position and distance is an issue.

Personally I would look at the network stats for the Wi-Fi on the device and compare it to your other devices, signal strength, noise ratio etc, or you could just move it closer or just change itā€™s current position in relation to the router, not all Wi-Fi radios are equal.

I have to assume an Ethernet cable isnā€™t an option. If it works when you move it closer you may have to invest in a mesh system or some other Wi-Fi extenders.

I had the same problem. I set up my onn box using my phone, your phone. And the onn box has to be on the same Wi-Fi connection, either the high or the low side. If you have a dual band router

Maybe I donā€™t understand the context of this problem, but my ONNs work on any WIFI connection (w/ password of course). Within the house or on the road. If Iā€™m going to a friendā€™s house I grab one off the kitchen tv to bring with sometimes. On the road, they work great in motels, though you often have to use Jiopages to log into a motelā€™s captive portal.

If youā€™re having the same type of problem with your wifi on mulitple units, I would tend to think itā€™s internal and something about your wifi or positioning. Yes I understand itā€™s not happening with your other devices but the onn has been the most simple to hook up and go with minimal effort. Iā€™ve also taken it to a hotel and it just connected, no browser even needed.

Sorry this is not the locked thread so canā€™t mention the name here but itā€™s pointless because even if I did you couldnā€™t find them. There is no website, no discord, no internet presence, no advertising anywhere. It is invite only and it appears at this time they are not taking on new subs

Seems to depend on the motel and price of motel doesnā€™t seem to make a difference. You have to unplug and use the same HDMI port as their cable. And Jiopages browser is sometimes needed for itā€™s mouse pointer in order to navigate to the sign in portal. Just have to be careful you donā€™t mistakenly click something on Jiopages that will take you to an advertiser.
