Even though we state that our reviews shall not be considered recommendations or promotions to use these services, we still get blamed when things go south.
It should be noted that TROYPOINT does not accept payment from unverified IPTV services that we review and we never will.
Some of these packages come with over 30,000 channels. No, we donāt test every channel nor do we revisit these services in the future to see how they are performing. There are simply too many services to revisit.
Some channels buffer more than others depending on what service you are using. My favorite 5 channels might work great on my service but buffer on yours.
Regarding our reviews, we can never win because everyone has different needs from their IPTV service. Joe Streamer may be thrilled with IPTV Service XYZ because his sports play buffer-free, yet Sally Cordcutter hates this service because her favorite 24/7 channels buffer.
We always recommend getting a free trial prior to purchasing a service to ensure your favorite channels work well. If the service doesnāt offer a free trial, purchase one month of service to see how things work.
Please stop using IPTV ifā¦
You are going to blame TROYPOINT for your problems.
You expect the same level of technical support that you would receive from a traditional cable/satellite company. Keep in mind that you are paying $5-$15 per month for this service and these outfits donāt have the # of tech support agents waiting for your support requests. Yes, there should be some level of support but donāt expect them to travel to your house to fix your problems.
You arenāt OK with possibly losing money from your pre-paid service when it goes down or stops working well.
Many TROYPOINT fans subscribe to two or more services so they have a backup if something doesnāt work properly.

We have so much content in this forum that there shouldnāt be very many new topics unless itās pertaining to news or a link you want to share.
Prior to posting a topic please search for your subject and post your question in the topic most closely related. Your new question within that topic will still show up at the top of the topic list as the topic will be refreshed.
If we canāt get this problem solved we will start instructing members to flag duplicate topics for deletion. As of now, our people are constantly merging newly created topics with existing ones and they shouldnāt need to do that.
We would rather you place your question in an existing topic that may be a bit off from the exact term you are looking for than create a new topic.

If youāve never installed a Kodi add-on before, follow this Troypoint guide. The links below have to be typed in within Kodi.

In order to use Umbrella, you also need to install the Coco Scrapers module from https://cocojoe2411.github.io/ and then go into the āToolsā section of Umbrella, go to āProvidersā, enable external providers, then select Cocoscrapers module from the list. You also will want to go to the accounts section and authorize your Real Debrid and Trakt accounts if you have them.

]]>Read the fine print VERY closely. In my case Surfshark auto-renewed my account for the same price ($59.76), BUT ONLY for one year. In addition I attempted to manually renew my subscription two days before auto-renew occurred (with Paypal) in order to get a 2 year renewal at the highly discounted price of $69.76 ($10 more than my original pricing from 2 years ago). Surfshark somehow threw out this payment and allowed the auto-renew payment to proceed. Upon complaining to Surfshark I got a major runaround. I can post the full chat sequence if desired.
Long story short, they wonāt honor my attempt to manually auto renew with a two year plan for $69.76. This irked me to no end, so much so I was planning to cancel my subscription and request the āmoney back guaranteeā, followed by starting a whole new subscription in order to get the lowest price possible. Here comes the fine print again. āmoney back guaranteeā only applies to NEW accounts within a 30 day period, NOT account renewals. Hereās some more details. If you want to stop auto-renewal you have to request it from customer service and theyāll send you a link to do so - there is no other way to do so. Beware though, turning off auto-renewal will cancel your Surfshark account at the end of your current subscription - no ther way around this either. So why not just turn off auto-renewal a few days before your subscription is supposed to auto-renew, let your account expire, then go and restart a whole new subscription? Well, at present it appears you can in fact do this, but Surfshark will only allow this form of account recreation to occur two times. After that, apparently they will refuse your request, apparently for evermore.
In the long run Iām stuck with a one year auto renew at $59.76. But you can bet Iāll be turning off auto-renew a week beforehand next year (notification created in my calendar) then starting a whole new subscription, that is if Surfshark doesnāt change their current subscription policies - I wonāt hold my breath on that though. Or I may even simply go elsewhere for my VPN service depending on the VPN offerings climate at that time.
Long story short, learn from my painful experience to read the fine print (as difficult as they make it) and make informed choices. BTW, I went my Paypal account and turned off Surfsharkās ability to auto bill my account in the future.
Darn shame that Surfshark has to dilly-dally around with their subscription service in this misleading way in order to extract more cash from their subscribers than we realize with a short look. Shame on you, Surfshark.

Looks like Rumble is the only platform that is serious about protecting our First Amendment rights as not one video has been removed from that platform and I can promise you that the āpowers to beā are trying to shut us down there as well.

]]>We still havenāt received our review unit for the PowerStation as they are holding off on sending those to reviewers until bugs are ironed out.
Regarding the X5 SuperSport, I have tested this and it has some problems that a future update is supposed to fix. In itās current state there is no way I can recommend purchasing this device.

]]>I have been working on a new app for the last 6 months or so but the concept has been on my mind for over a year.
Initially it was going to be for both Firetv & Android TV devices but with the Amazon ADB block changes, the app will only be for Android TV Devices.
What is it ?
The app will allow your Android TV device to use Encrypted DNS (DNS over TLS)
What are the benefits of Encrypted DNS?
As the name implies, all your DNS requests will now be encrypted which means your ISP canāt see what you are requesting. It also means, any DNS blocks from your ISP will also be removed.
How will this improve my cord cutting life ?
The main benefit for us cord cutters is that we can use ad-blocking encrypted DNS servers, this means any streaming app that was previously showing adverts will now become ad-free 
.
Any app on your streaming device that make a request to load an advert will be blocked by the encrypted DNS.
How does this compare to Blokada or another ad-blocking app ?
Blokada uses a virtual vpn connection to block ads. This means if the app is terminated, then you lose the ad-blocking functionality. It also means that you canāt run a VPN whilst using Blokada. My app does not have these limitations and once you have set the encrypted DNS server, you donāt need to keep my app running.
What does this app look like?
How can I get it ?
Right now, I am looking for a few testers to help test the functionality of the app. Iāve personally tested it on my Onn 4K pro and using apps like FilmPlus, CinemaHD. Those apps were showing a banner advert when the links were loading and a big fat video advert when you back out of a movie. Once I enabled encrypted DNS - I didnāt see any of those adverts . If have an an Android TV device and can help me test the new app, please email me on tdoctoruk at gmail. I only need about 5 - 10 people.
How much will this app cost?
The app will cost $1.99 and it will be a lifetime license for unlimited devices. Even if you have 10 different Android TV devices, you can buy the app once and your license will cover all devices. You will get unlimited lifetime upgrades.

Testers have confirmed my app successfully blocks adverts in Rumble. Also reports of reduced buffering in IPTV APPS (if ISPās were previously throttling connections, then that would be removed by using encrypted DNS)

I have uploaded a new version with some minor bugfixes. You will need to uninstall the old version and install the new one. The new one has the version 1.0.1. This new version will expire on the 29th Sept.

Roku Channel
Analiti (speed test app)
TheTVApp (blocked channels can now be accessed without vpn)
Essentially any app that makes requests to AD-domains should now show zero ads.
Apps with baked-in ads will still continue to show ads.
I have also had multiple reports of improved buffering/performance in IPTV apps.
The app does not interfere with your VPN. You can connect to any VPN provider and still use the encrypted DNS server you have selected in the app.
As mentioned before, the app will cost 1.99 and its a lifetime license for unlimited devices - doesnāt matter if you have 4 Android TV devices or 14 - a single 1.99 license will cover all of them. You will get lifetime updates.
A polite request from me is if you do decide to purchase the app - could you please leave a review? This will greatly help the streaming community and also help me.
